Rachel CartWright~ The Thoroughly Baked Chef
Meet Rachel
Rachel Cartwright knows a thing or two about hemp. Rachel grew up in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She became well traveled living in Switzerland, Northern CA and CO where she worked in medical cannabis markets. It was during that time she discovered how useful cannabidiol (CBD)—the non-psychoactive derivative of hemp—could be for pain and helping children with Dravet Syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy. Rachel is also a trained chef and a former LPN. She uses these skills and rich life experiences to create her business, CBD Therapeutics of Wisconsin.
Rachel currently resides in Oak Creek, Wisconsin with her fiance and business partner, Mike Landeck. Cartwright began producing THC-free CBD tincture in 2017. She and Mike make all the CBD Therapeutics of Wisconsin products in-house, allowing them to be the producers, manufacturers and distributors of their items. Rachel's line of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol)-free oils, pain butter, lozenges and bath and beauty items made from pharmaceutical-grade CBD isolate sourced from organically grown hemp. The products are available at Rachel's home store, Landright’s Botanical Healing Center. Gertie, she and Mike's dog, is an emotional support animal trained to welcome customers and provide pet therapy.

Rachel began Landright’s Angel Program is a sliding-scale option to help people afford CBD. She doesn't want people to be in pain because they can’t afford a bottle of oil. Be sure to inquire.

Rachel and Mike host CBD workshops and are beginning a podcast all about cannabis. They’ve recently added yoga classes and massage at Landright Botanticall's that incorporate CBD. Mike was able to obtain a license to grow hemp this 2019 season, and Rachel has formed an additional business called Cannabliss Event Services, where she partners with Married in Milwaukee to offer hemp-themed weddings.
